Every night, write down exactly three priority actions for the next day. Not tasks. Not a to-do list. Three specific actions that directly advance your most important priority. If you cannot name three, you have not thought clearly about your priorities.
Before email. Before messages. Before any incoming demand on your attention. The three actions are your first output of the day. If you cannot protect two hours in the morning for your own priorities, the system owns you.
The three actions do not change mid-day. They do not get quietly dropped. If circumstances genuinely prevent completion, you document the reason — you do not simply drift. Name what happened. Then decide.
Every evening: "Did I complete what I committed to today?" Yes or no. Track your answer for 7 days. This is not journaling. This is measurement.
